The Last Dragon Charmer #1: Villain Keeper - Laurie McKay

This reminded me strongly of Dark Lord: The Early Years, except for that I never questioned Caden's sanity, like I did with Dirk, and also I enjoyed this one quite a bit more.

I legitimately liked Caden and Tito, as well as Rosa, my personal favorite, but found that Brynne was a bit annoying, also repeatedly mentioned as being gorgeous and also 12. It was weird.

I was a bit lost as to why the evil villains of Razzon are sent to North Carolina, let alone why they all work at this middle school, and also everything having to do with the dragons, especially headmaster lady, who can't be a Blue and Silver dragon....but is.

THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE

BUT HAPPENED.

I'm hoping we'll get quite a lot of answers in the sequel(s). And more Rosa.
