A Sea of Stars

Lily's dream is to go to Princeton like her grandfather. He arranges for her to take the Legacy Test. If she can find the Ivy Key, she will be granted admission to Princeton. However, Princeton Campus holds more secrets than Lily could have ever imagined. A parallel world, magical creatures, gargoyles, college, sneaky old men, and (say it isn't true!) a love triangle all are written together in this fantastical take on Princeton College. The idea was interesting but I found the characters more bland than they had to be and the writing sometimes lacking. The setting is gorgeous and simply makes you want to live at Princeton. I finished this in a day because it is easy to read and a page turner. Worth a quick read, it's just not my favorite.
